Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored.
Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes.

With the expansion of modding I would really love to see NPCs and roaming ships in space and on planets and inbetween ascending and descending. I would pretty much put it at a 10/10 😄
Really looking forward to the 205 update and beyond. Gotta say though, my biggest pain point about starting or returning to a survival run, sub-grid blueprinting/projection. Please make it a higher priority.
I love the new windows, would also love if there was a window where the angled part was solid metal with the flat viewable. Just an idea. A Request: Can we have some kind of information on the workshop mod screen telling us what the mod is that has been made unavailable instead of the workshop Id. and possible info on replacement or just broken etc...
The compact antenna is a nice upgrade for large grid rovers. Trying to either put the supermassive antenna on one, or link a small grid antenna through a rotor isn't as nice as just having one that fits properly.
Though I will mostly use a small grid antenna on a rotor as a part of my data center 1:31:55

Using Port and Starboard for ship directions work great to alleviate confusion for multiple drones and blocks not attached to the main grid.

Still cant project and build multiple grids with projectors. As for the remote channels it should just allow us to set our own string as a channel name. That way differnet builders can use their own channels and not conflict with others.
Technically you can, if you use multiple projectors set up together to complete the object. Then you just merge everything together.

verdict about the update, same issues like vefore still stands, not enough creative possibility with limited physics shape, you run into a wall with it rather quick
Depends on whether you get the DLC or not. Not much has been added in the update part, but the DLC adds tons of new options and updates.
Keep up the hard work!!!! We are all patiently waiting for space engineers 2 and NPCs to battle and interact with!!!!

All this blocks and features for an empty game without NPCs or AI, after +15 years and the game dont have food, water, stamina, research or decent wild animals to hunt or worlds to explore and get new and rare resources

What would happen if you could have the canon for NPC ships when they "despawn" is that they go to FTL jump. If you're riding on it at that point, then you'd be transported with the NPC ship (maybe if you're in a seat)... then you could have a world where the ship would jump to other trading stations, where you could then get off and trade. Maybe it could be a whole scenario of play where you just are a cargo riding hobo, where you go trading etc. Would be interesting... maybe even have your small ship lock on to NPC ship and go for the ride! :)
If only I knew how to play this game
As much as i dislike Keen for being clowns of the game devs scene, after buying space engineers and expecting it to become something more than a barebones sandbox for 9 years, and seeing features now that should have been in the games from day 1, and after seeing solo devs doing better jobs than this, i don't understand the hate for the LoRA approach in game dev. AI is no longer the future, it's the present, if people become obsolete, in this case artists, so be it, becoming luddites and hating on progress, won't stop people from being replaced. You should strive for social, economic and financial change, not for holding back technology.
all these years but Space Engineers still do what Space Engineers do best: build big red ships and ram them into big blue ships 🤣
I await an update to exploration and resource progression. Even interlinking servers for larger player bases.
